Boating at Lake Hartwell can be fun. Check out these three islands, Andersonville Island, Broyles Party Island and Island at buoys S-53 and S-55. Explore the ruins and wildlife at Andersonville Island near Portman Marina at buoys LC-1 – LBC 9 and S1 – S13. Broyles Party Island is located near Broyles Recreation Area. It is a fun place to hang out by boat. Graves dating back to the 1700’s and 1800’s can by found at the highest point on the north side of the island at buoys S-53 and S-55.
